Just a chill game that can last a long time and still be enjoyable. Mars edges out Paranormal as my favorite Zen original. Honorable mentions - In the previous Pinball FX I used to love Spiderman, but I feel like the FX3 version is glitchier and doesn't play as smoothly as the old version for me (playing on Xbox). But still, a good time and something I play every time I load Pinball FX 3. Make a shot a few times in a row and then you can't make it to save your life. Sometimes the board is brutal, draining balls off to the side early and changing speed dramatically. Maybe I should put more time into Blade? Anyways, I enjoy leveling the character in this, figuring out how stuff works, and just seeing where things go. This game isn't perfect but it is a pretty good time all around.ģ) Skyrim - I think I like tables with a dark mode considering my number one pick and one of my honorable mentions. Overall though, nice variety of missions, animations, and the Speeder Bike minigame is something I'll master someday.Ģ) Thor Fear Itself - The big loop with magnets, the music/sound design, the breakout minigame. I remember some of the shots felt different back in FX2 - hitting Jabba's Palace is easier now but I still think the older version might've been even better than this one on net. Every time I play Adventure Land I think of Party Land and marvel at how far the industry has come.ġ) Star Wars Return of the Jedi - I dunno, I just like the forest setting. All because people hated the idea of buying in-game currency.
#PINBALL FX3 REDDIT FULL#
It kind of reminds me of an attempt at doing Cactus Canyon with a full budget and all the modern bells and whistles, and the shot map is just so satisfying that I don't think I'll ever get tired of it.Īdventure Land is more of a sentimental favorite, partly because the theme reminds me so much of the Pinball Fantasies table Party Land, which was where I first discovered my love of digital pinball way back when I somewhat randomly bought it out of a bargain bin at a Comp USA in the mid 90's. Long story short for Pinball FX, this is a one time thing, (unless you subscribed to Pinball Pass, using Tickets/Pinball Coins) Pinball FX3 purchases will NOT carry over in the slightest. Wild West Rampage is one that I didn't play much until recently, and absolutely love it.

Medieval Madness is pretty much the gold standard (I love AFM as well, but the stacking of modes in MM give it the edge.) If I ever feel like playing pinball, I know I can just pop a game or two of MM and feel satisfied, regardless of my mood. Quite a bit late to this but I'd have to say my 3 favorites are:
